July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. July is the month where we spread awareness about people who have a mental illness and have less likely chances of getting help in the U.S.

 

Introduction

 

As you all know, July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month. July is the month when we spread awareness for people who have a different skin color or who celebrate different cultures and do not have access to treatment for their illness because of these reasons. Research shows that minority groups have more anxiety, depression, and have a higher number of deaths and don’t get much help. This is why July has become National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, to spread more awareness about minority groups and their mental health. But ever since the Covid 19 Pandemic, the topic hasn’t received a lot of awareness and needs more attention.

Why should we help spread awareness?

 

Helping spread awareness for people who have different skin colors and different cultures and cannot receive help would be a great cause. Other organizations like the HHS Offices of Minority Health (OMH) are helping minority groups get the treatment/medicine that they need. They are also addressing the problem by inhibiting faithful leaders and telling others all about it. But, in the meantime, we need more people and more organization   awareness about the topic. Now, I will tell you how to make sure that National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month gets attention.

 

How should we spread awareness?

 

To spread more awareness about National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, you can post about it on any kind of social media. Some examples of social media are Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Another way you can spread awareness is that you can involve other people to spread the message about it. You can talk to your friends and family all about it and tell them to tell their friends about National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month to spread the message.
